MISSION STATEMENT
The Clinton Hill Community and Early Childhood Center, Inc. is and will always be a human service oriented organization, committed to the growth and development of the surrounding communities, (family, home, schools, and environment, etc.).
We have operated since January of 1992 and in that time we have helped mold and shape over five hundred (500) students' attitudes and approaches to the educational process.
Our motto is: "Building Young Minds for the Future". It is our hope that every student who passes through our doors, will leave with a thirst that only further educational feedings will quench. These students will enter the public or private school sectors as a sponge ready to soak up any and all knowledge provided.
Pre-school is just the stepping stone, the building block that cements the foundation of their educational pursuits.
Our mission and goal is to be that foundation. This organization has maintained a positive image and established a strong, unbreakable bond within the community. The many accolades given to us from parents and teachers of our past graduates attest to our ability to meet, and in many instances surpass this goal.
Our programs will be inclusive but not limited to remedial, developmental and enrichment education, while addressing the physical and health aspects of the whole child.
Our pledge is to provide children with an opportunity to interact with other children in a setting conducive to the development of wholesome social relationships; to provide appropriate play experiences that contribute to the developmental needs of the children.; and to provide opportunities for meaningful play based on children's individual needs, interests, handicaps, and abilities, and that build important foundations for future reading skills and other academic pursuits.
We also recognize the responsibility we hold to our parents. To provide them with opportunities to meet and work with other parents, caregivers, and child care providers who have as their common concern the interests and needs of the preschool child; to provide care for the child while parents and caregivers pursue their own work or other interests; and to provide opportunities to grow in the understanding of child development through a planned educational program.
As a grass roots organization we will help to meet the needs of the community for an early childhood child care facility; to contribute to the wholesome growth and development of the future citizens of the community; and to provide a setting where people of various religious and ethnic backgrounds can work together for a common interest.
